Why use a third timing level?
Mahadashas can last many years and Antardashas can still cover long spans. Pratyantardasha creates a narrower interval while preserving the full parent context.
It is most useful when you already understand the larger two levels. Reading a Pratyantardasha by itself can remove the context that gives the period meaning.
Provider data in Kya Kare
Kya Kare stores the Pratyantardasha dates returned within its configured astrology-provider response. Those timestamps remain the anchor for any deeper subdivision shown in the product.
The interface distinguishes provider-returned data from calculated deeper levels so users can see where each timestamp came from.
What comes next?
The next two subdivisions are Sookshma and Prana. They use the same planetary sequence and proportional logic applied to a progressively smaller parent period.
Kya Kare currently stops at Prana rather than creating arbitrary extra depth.
