This Privacy Policy explains how Kya Kare? ("Kya Kare?", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use kyakare.in and the related Kya Kare application. Kya Kare is developed by AlphaZero Software Solution. By using the service, you acknowledge the data practices described below.
1. Information we collect
We collect information that is needed to create and operate your account and Jyotish experience.
- Account information: your name, email address, login method and account identifiers.
- Birth profile information: date of birth, exact or approximate birth time, place of birth, latitude, longitude, timezone and related profile fields you choose to provide.
- Astrology data: provider-calculated Kundli information, planetary positions, houses, Dashas, Yogas, divisional chart data and related derived records saved to your account.
- AI interactions: questions you send to Jyotish AI, relevant chart context supplied with those questions and the responses returned to you.
- Payment information: order IDs, payment provider, amount, currency, status, timestamps and other transaction metadata required to confirm access. Kya Kare does not need to store your full card number, UPI PIN or other payment authentication credentials.
- Technical information: basic request, security and diagnostic data that may be generated when the service is used, such as timestamps, browser/device details, IP-related request information and error logs where available.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and authenticate your account;
- save and manage your birth profile;
- request and store provider-calculated astrology results;
- show your Kundli, timeline, readings and other product features;
- ground Jyotish AI responses in your saved chart and Dasha context;
- process and verify payments and unlock purchased access;
- prevent abuse, investigate errors and protect the service;
- maintain, improve and support the application; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations where required.
3. Astrology and AI processing
Kya Kare does not ask the AI model to independently calculate your planetary positions or Dashas. Astrology calculations are obtained from the configured astrology provider and stored as structured chart data. When you use Jyotish AI, relevant portions of that saved chart context together with your question may be sent to the configured AI provider so it can generate an explanation or interpretation.
AI-generated language can be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review important decisions independently and should not treat AI or astrology output as professional advice.
4. Third-party services
Kya Kare relies on third-party services to provide parts of the application. Depending on which features are enabled, these may include:
- Google Identity Services for Google sign-in;
- Google Maps or location services for place and timezone assistance;
- Prokerala or another configured astrology provider for astrology calculations;
- configured AI model providers for Jyotish AI responses;
- Razorpay, PhonePe or another configured payment provider for payments;
- Vercel and other infrastructure providers used to host and deliver the application; and
- managed database or storage providers used by the service.
Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We aim to send only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant feature.
5. Payments
Payment authentication is handled by the selected payment provider. Kya Kare may store transaction references and payment status so that access can be granted, restored or reconciled. Sensitive payment authentication information such as a card CVV or UPI PIN is handled by the payment provider and is not required by Kya Kare.
6. Data retention
We retain account, birth-profile, astrology and AI data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal or accounting requirements. Different categories of information may have different retention periods. Backup or security records may remain for a limited period after primary records are removed.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect stored data, including access controls and encrypted handling of configured provider credentials. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should protect your login credentials and notify us through the support channel made available by the service if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Your choices and rights
You may update certain profile information from the application. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal data, or to raise a privacy concern. Requests can be made through the support or privacy contact method published by Kya Kare at the time of the request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Children
Kya Kare is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally able to consent to the service under applicable law. If you believe information has been submitted inappropriately, contact us through the support channel available on the service.
10. International processing
Some service providers may process data in locations different from your own. Where this occurs, information may be subject to the laws of the location in which it is processed.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
