D1 and D9 are related, not competing charts
The D1 or Rashi chart remains the primary natal chart. Navamsa adds another layer of analysis and is traditionally used to examine the strength and expression of planetary placements in greater depth.
A D9 position should therefore be read in relation to the main chart rather than used to cancel or replace it.
Why birth-time accuracy still matters
Divisional charts divide signs into smaller portions, which makes them sensitive to exact planetary degrees and, for the ascendant, to birth-time accuracy.
If the recorded birth time is uncertain, the user should treat fine-grained divisional interpretations with appropriate caution.
How Kya Kare presents Navamsa
When Navamsa data is included in the saved provider calculation, My Kundli displays it as a separate chart beside the main birth-chart information.
The UI does not fabricate a D9 chart when the provider data is missing.
